PLANSPONSOR'S annual Defined Contribution survey is an important industry benchmarking tool. In the 2008 survey, Diversified received 35 Best in Class honors across markets in categories such as: education program, communications materials, call center, account representative knowledge, asset allocation focus and enrollment assistance.
In July and August 2008, PLANSPONSOR sent approximately 35,136 survey questionnaires to defined contribution plan sponsors. 5,973 responses, including 146 from Diversified clients, were received. PLANSPONSOR gives “Best in Class” awards to those providers with top quartile scores in each category within each asset size. The Seals recognize excellence among written and electronic communications that meet the needs of retirement plan participants.

Specifically, Diversified's statements were recognized for their approach toward answering the participant's primary questions concerning account value and asset allocation.
